The 6th Annual FIS Anchors Aweigh Fun Run Fundraiser is LIVE!

The Fun Run has a goal to raise $35,000 this year! The funds help coordinate all of the programs PTO funds - as well as making donations to the school for playgrounds this year.  FIS is planning major playground upgrades and this is no small feat!

ADDITIONAL EVENT DETAILS

 

Dear Farragut Intermediate Families,

 

The FIS PTO is hosting our SIXTH ANNUAL ANCHORS AWEIGH FUN RUN on November 8th, during the school day. This is a volunteer-run event and 100% of the net proceeds will stay at Farragut Intermediate School!

 

On the day of the run, during your student’s encore time slot (with minor adjustments), your child will run up to 30 laps around a course set up on the soccer field. We have several things planned to keep the kids energized, including a DJ! The run will be outside, so be sure to dress your child appropriately. Thanks to our generous sponsors, every child at FIS will receive a free T-shirt to wear on the day of the run, as well as water and a healthy snack after the run.

 

Your child may ask family, friends, neighbors, etc. to sponsor him or her. Students can get sponsors and donations now through November 8th. Prizes will also be distributed after all donations are collected. Please register your student by scanning the QR code below or by visiting

Students will earn prizes based on total donations received. Prizes for each category are listed below.

2nd Place: UT Swag Bag with lots of fun UT gear + $100 Top Golf Gift Card

3rd Place: Farragut Swag Bag with lots of fun Admirals gear + $50 Top Golf Gift Card

Top Class Overall: Pizza Party with the UT Track Team
